The National Council is the executive body that ensures STAA
(established in 1986) runs smoothly, meeting its aims and objectives.
National Council meets every 4-6 weeks. It welcomes input from
Shiatsu therapists via council members, the Administrative Officer
and Pointers.
The National Council Executive is run by volunteers. There are
4 key positions elected annually at the Annual General Meeting
(AGM). The positions include:
    President
    Vice
President
    Secretary
    Treasurer
Apart from the Executive, sub committees are utilised on a needs
basis.
These include:
    marketing
    publication
    membership
    education
Each play an integral role in ensuring quality service to members.
