The season of late Summer in Traditional Chinese Medicine is the time for the Earth element.  Late Summer represents the transition from the very vibrant Yang seasons of Spring and Summer, to the cooler nourishing Yin seasons of Autumn and Winter. A strong earth element allows us to be clear in our thinking, and provides a foundation for feeling compassionate, safe and secure.

In this Okido yoga workshop, Julie Atkinson will draw on this late Summer energy and focus on the Stomach and Spleen meridians. We will strengthen our ability to discern and digest information and bring nourishment to our bodies.

This workshop will include some or all of the following:

  • Gentle stretches
  • Do-in
  • Visualisations
  • Pledges and Affirmations
  • Chanting

Let us nourish our earth element together and bring clarity and a feeling of being grounded.
