Japanese direct moxa (okyu) is a powerful way to address blood level and chronic conditions.
It has a long history as a preventive practice to strengthen the immune system and is often prescribed as a daily home remedy.
This webinar will introduce the difference between direct moxa and warming moxa, covering the history and contemporary use.
It will include a demonstration of a simple direct moxa treatment which can easily be practised to improve your moxa skills and benefit your health.
Drawing on the medicine of timing and the moxibustion work of Dr Hara, this practice will allow you to learn about direct moxa through your own research.
Pulse skills to monitor dosage and progressive improvement will be introduced as an important part of self-care.
