Registered Shiatsu Practitioners with our association hold a recognised Shiatsu qualification and fulfil the following professional standards:

- hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate

- have public indemnity and liability insurance;

- complete 20 hours of Continual Professional Development annually

- Abide by STAA's Code of Ethics

Established in 1987, the Shiatsu Therapy Association of Australia Inc. (STAA) is the National Peak Body representing Shiatsu Therapists.

STAA is dedicated to expanding the awareness and recognition of Shiatsu in the Australian community and its integration into the healthcare system.
